W40s too harsh/sibilant?
Are there any reference songs you'd reccomend me testing them out with? I'm trying new plugs to see if there's an issue with seal. Worst case I'll take it back as I have warranty on them.- meetya

Fiio X3 (2nd Gen) vs iBasso DX50 vs Cowon Plenue D?
Looking for a new player, got it down to these three. Would be playing mainly FLACs straight into a pair of Westone W40s. Mostly listening to rock/metal but also quite a bit of jazz/fusion and classical. Thoughts? I'll likely be leaning towards the Fiios as I used to own the 1st gen and...- meetya

W40s too harsh/sibilant?
Bought some Westone W40s the other day (step up from SE215s and EarPods) and plugged them in. Found them more detailed on my music but a bit sibilant/harsh on some tracks, especially with hihats and vocals. Makes some songs (such as this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftE9uSPpecs)...- meetya

Need some help in deciding.....
I'm trying to buy some new IEMs. I'll be listening to mainly rock music through an iPhone 6s, or mixing tracks on a MacBook Air. I'll also be using these on stage with my band (in ear monitoring). I'm considering the Westone W40 or the 4R. They're the same price where I am. For a...- meetya

SE535 vs InEar StageDiver SD2 vs 1964 U2 vs Campfire Audio Orion
My birthday's coming up and I thought I'd treat myself to some new IEMs. I'll be using these to listen to rock music, mix some tracks and also while performing on stage with my band (I play guitar). I've narrowed it down to these three - they're all the same price in my store: 1. Shure...- meetya

Could use a bit of help...
Have you tried them? I don't mind buying the A6 or the A7s as they're within my budget. Not much info on the drivers though...- meetya

Could use a bit of help...
So I've been shopping around for the better part of a few months for some new IEMs. My trusty old SE215s finally gave in on me so I thought I'd get a new pair. I'm not looking to spend more than $450 at all as I'll be saving up for a nice set of customs next year. Around then I will either get...- meetya
