    Kernal Streaming made a huge difference

    My recent test with kernel streaming in XP is that I need to reboot my computer for other applications than foobar2000 to work after I use it once. Some bug somewhere.. I need finally backup all stuff so I can switch to linux or vista.

    I have tube with JW-2C51 marking and also reads western electric but nothing else. I just wonder if this is really 936A?

    Same kind of high quality usb converter as Hagtech USB to Spdif converter is Trends UD-10 USB audio converter. It has usb input and coax(rca+bnc),optical,aes/ebu output.

    I have some experience about various external dacs so here goes. I bought modded diyeden great-march dac and them upgraded opamps in it myself. It sounds quite good but recently been thinking that it could be better. I also bought citypulse 7.2x dac but it was too flat/bright sound for my setup...

    corda opera or new dac with aria?

    Just to add that I belong to SOURCE FIRST camp If you have bit-perfect digital signal and do have crappy dac then you have crappy analog signal and since this is the one you amplify to your phones you cant make it good no matter how good amp you had.
