Am I missing something about EQ? Seems like most people use it but it just never sounds clean to me, and I only ever do minimal lowering of bands. Like, paying end game money just to EQ it? What??

Price aside, how do you guys like Falcon Ultra compared to the Zen Pro? Pros look a bit light on deep bass and a bit spicy on upper treble but mids seem more balanced?

Shanling MG100, am kinda diggin it. Treble is indeed a bit sharp but pretty balanced, there’s an addictive quality to it and mids don’t get lost. Bass extends well and will give punch when needed but stays out of the way. Good staging. Just preliminaries for now…

Tigerism has another single DD, for $750 lol. Hope to see some graphs for that come out. I need to test my Tigerism Octave with tips other than SpinFits, maybe that’ll chill out the 4k region and then they’ll be keepers.
