Will there be the Sennheisier HE-1 again this year?

I find it strange that they give out a part number that you can't buy.

I'm based in the UK if that makes a difference, but I just filled in an online contact form on sennheiser-hearing.com with the country selected as the UK, took a week for a reply though. Will they follow up with another message? probably not.

I asked that question, about the covers and this is the answer, 'The part number is 574948, however this item is not sold separately outside of production. We are currently speaking with the development team to see what answers they have. Apologies for any inconvenience'.

Well it didn't, because the replacement tube went crackly after an hour and a half, BUT I did try the original tube again in the other socket, and with a strong finger flick to the chassis/amp on startup it was a lot better. So it seems on reflection I have possibly both dirty and slightly loose...

Received a replacement today, that seemed to solve the issue, for now anyway.

Bought two gec 6080s off langrex a month back, very happy with sound but after a week or so one went noisy on startup. The question I'm asking is I don't really know whether to replace the noisy tube as the noise is gone within 7-10 minutes after startup, then there is no more noise after that...

Purchased off eBay several years ago, but hardly ever used. I have tested the 'tubes/valves' and they are noise free with a Grado RS1 classic. This is the 'Pro' version with the 'Lemo' psu connector, also there is some pitting on the volume connector, and several minor blemishes on the main...
