It's all about the mood i guess.. tonight i was having fun with the auteur but i got annoyed after 2 hours. Tomorrow I'll use the L cush.

My actual setup is Large pad + auteur lamb perf Beyer was coming with the oval pad.

Does anyone have a Clear MG & Aeolus and would like to describe some differences ? I went from lcd2c to Clear MG. But i might consider the Aeolus as well. (Keeping this darker/ warmer sound signature) I own the clear MG for hip-hop & EDM, but I'd like to know if the aeolus is better for those...

It is the best purchase I've made in years for an amp. I've never crossed the tube amp area before this one. My only bad match at home is the focal clear MG Edit: " overly warm.. it's too much except for dubstep. " Hekse, Arya stealth, hd600, hd800s, Olina SE are fantastic.

Have you tried the RCA input ? I usually use a balanced connection but with this unit i had too much noise with the XLR so i tried the RCA. It's 99% quiet with the unbalanced input. My hd600 pick some noise but today it was dead silent. Tube amps are interesting, someday i pickup some dirty...
