It is the best purchase I've made in years for an amp. I've never crossed the tube amp area before this one. My only bad match at home is the focal clear MG Edit: " overly warm.. it's too much except for dubstep. " Hekse, Arya stealth, hd600, hd800s, Olina SE are fantastic.

Have you tried the RCA input ? I usually use a balanced connection but with this unit i had too much noise with the XLR so i tried the RCA. It's 99% quiet with the unbalanced input. My hd600 pick some noise but today it was dead silent. Tube amps are interesting, someday i pickup some dirty...

With my arya i have no noice. On the other hand.. with my hd600 i have noise in the right channel. please tell me if the DC blocker help for you. Then i'll buy one. Might go for the audiolab. I will try the focal clear mg this afternoon. Thanks Cheers

How old is your electrical panel and the wiring is the house ?

Did you used it with the 4.4mm or XLR output at medium gain ? My guess is.. with my clear mg I'll use the 4.4mm because it's super sensitive but with the more power hungry Arya stealth, I'll go with the XLR output. 4.4mm : 350mW+350mW(M) XLR 4 pin : 750mW+750mW(M)
