Bicycle-Fi!
$7,000 in 1974 would have been equal to $34,609.18 in 2016. I've noticed this. Bike technology has always had a trickle-down effect, the lower end bikes are only getting better while the high-end bikes remain largely esoteric with a consumer base that doesn't really change. The odd...- Greyson

What's your foobar2000 setup?
Here is the latest incarnation of my theme. Removed more clutter, unnecessary visual buttons (I use hotkeys for everything) etc. Spent a considerable amount of time migrating everything from pre-1.x to the latest version of Foobar so i'm running that now. Added SACD component for .DSF / .DFF...- Greyson

I buy zipties in packs of 1000 for about 5 bucks, it's easy to clip it with a small pair of sidecuts if it doesn't look right. They hold tight, and they're 4mm which makes them barely noticeable.- Greyson

Only APC's Back-UPS series use a stepped/approximated sinewave, their enterprise and professional class UPS systems are all pure sinewave. Cyberpower has several cheaper units that use stepped as well, it's very common on a cheap UPS. A good UPS (pure sinewave) will not have any negative...- Greyson

Bicycle-Fi!
Weather finally took a turn for the better and I was able to throw on my summer clothes and do a solid ~35 miles in some gorgeous 70°F sun. On a related note, I recently discovered (after having intermittent issues with the front derailleur ever since I bought the bike) that the shop I...- Greyson

That's a nice bike. Nice scenery too, as usual i'm not doing much riding this time of year. This was from one of my last rides of the season, and I saw maybe one other person the whole time I was out.- Greyson
