Yes, it's picky about sources which can be a PITA occasionally. No one wants hiss. The SE535 has no such issues. Of course, it's always something :D

I would not buy an expensive cable unless it's for looks. Just my opinion. We need a list of cables that work.

Should I like that white cable? Convince me to like it, as it's cheesy looking :D I would imagine it's functionally very good, with microphonics and all. Any alternative suggestions? I mean, my iT01 has an awesome cable (very classy looking). Those were cheapish also.

Man this thread is awesome! :D I own these, and was meh with the filter swap thing (as I just got them recently). But THIS adds a whole new dimension to it. You guys have done some work alright. Maybe if enough of us pestered Shure they would sell custom filters. They could make some money. But...
