They M9's only look like they have an amazing build quality. I also thought so too, so i bought some for my dad, and they died after 4 months of use. My M9's died on me after about 6 months. Well they didn't exactly die, they still played sound but i have to play with the plug a lot to get them...

I use the stock tips with the XB120 and it really does suffer from driver flex for me. I really don't care about it though. I hate J cords too, especially in IEMs. They are not burned in yet, but when i put them on i was deeply impressed by the bass rumble and spacious soundstage they have...

Yes you might think that, but that really is an AKG K99 in that picture and in those links. Still, 40$ is a very decent price for it.
