iTunes without the iPod
I thought I would ask this question here because there are so many knowledgeable people. My little brother recently purchased an archos 604 and was hoping to use itunes to sync his music. Supposedly, BadApple resleased a plug-in that would allow this to happen. Unfortunately, the link on there...- deagol

AAC Protected -> Audio CD -> AIFF
You're only locked into iTunes as long as your AAC files have DRM on them. As soon as you remove the DRM (using a program or, in the way you have suggested, burning a ripping) they could play on any player that supports AAC. If you converted them to another file type, you could play them on any...- deagol

Closed Headphones for College
Also, would anyone recommend the Sony MDR-D66SL Eggo Headphones? Or are these out of their league when compared to headphones such as the ATH 900 of dt-770 (when price is taken into account)?- deagol

Closed Headphones for College
First, thanks for all the feedback. One question: are the k 81 dj circum-aural and has anyone experienced any comfort issues with them? I have found that my ears are fairly sensitive and having something resting on them starts to bother me after an hour or so. Also, where did you see the...- deagol

Closed Headphones for College
I have been at college for about a month now and am already thinking about getting a new pair of headphones. I have been using my westone um1 from my laptop and ipod nano (with rockbox of course) with very satisfactory results. The problem I am having is that I sleep with earplugs, and that...- deagol

New here..............
Another headphone that is often highly recommended on this site is the westone UM1. If you are new to the world of IEMs (in ear moniters), they might be a good place to start because of their excellent comfort. I have owned them and the shure e3c; both sound wonderful, but I enjoyed the Westones...- deagol

Can somebody reccomend me a certain IEM/Headphone?
If this is your first venture into IEMs I would look at comfort as a priority. It can be wierd to have something jammed in your ear and may be uncomfortable. I bought and sold the shure e3c just for this reason. I would recommend the Westone Um1. It is a bit above your budget ($10), but from...- deagol

Which earphones for 15yo iPod user?
One thing that you should also consider before buying IEMs is how they feel once they are in your ears. I am a snior in high school (17 years old) and bought a pair of shure e3c last year. I couldn't stand the feel of them in my ears and sold them. Since then, I have been wanting some sort of...- deagol
