    The 660s2 has the most color in my opinion, maybe the newly released 620. But the hd600s turn any digitalized vocal and make them sound like a real person. No other headphone I tried has been able to recreate this

    i just found out that the hd620s got released recently, and the graphs look very very promising. https://www.head-fi.org/threads/new-sennheiser-hd-620s-closed-back.972740/ i might take a look at acquiring this then. it may be the hd600s i actually want. lets see how they perform in the vocals...

    I usually preamp my headphones down so that the highest eq gain would equal the amount I pre-amp'd to. So I don't think I would clip my headphones

    Nice, but how do I avoid distortion? When I EQ'd my bass I don't hear any clipping so yeah
