HD600 x NewJeans

The 660s2 has the most color in my opinion, maybe the newly released 620. But the hd600s turn any digitalized vocal and make them sound like a real person. No other headphone I tried has been able to recreate this

I usually preamp my headphones down so that the highest eq gain would equal the amount I pre-amp'd to. So I don't think I would clip my headphones

That's my dilemma with the HD600. The HD600 are excellent for instrumental and older vocal music, but for the tiktok trap 2020 era hip-hop music produced today my HD600's sub-bass is struggling a lot. If anyone has suggestions to improve via software advice is welcome!

Sorry I didn't explain well, when I amped my HD600 sub-bass it caused a negative gain on the 200-350Hz area so I wanted to adjust so I can keep it at pre-amp settings. I'm ok with the pre-amp value I just don't want any other part of the sound signature to deviate from stock hd600 apart from sub...

These settings are supposed to equalize the sound at -9.3 dB to match the pre-amp. I prefer that from the mids up the sound doesn't get affected by my sub-bass eq

Those three filters are to help keep the hd600 at its normal frequencies before adjustment. Ibfind that the bass curves do help but they somewhat affect the last three frequencies and I want to retain the natural sound of HD600 past the bass region

I think what I want for hip hop is specifically punchy bass, very slightly extened bass. However I have also been listening to pop music (ik i have trash music tastes) and for that I might need more extended bass in the mid bass region. As you see in my lastest reply on this thread I have come...
