Are there any local builders in the So-Cal area? Everything worked before my Speedball upgrade. Now the music sounds distant and there's low volume hum. I totally would troubleshoot it, but it's been difficult to find the time between school and work.

I accidentally rolled in some Voskhod 6N2P tubes. Surprising a good sound. I'm not sure this tube is even supported. I'll give it a more thorough listening and report back later.

I find using the Dac out to the sonnet or lyr to have great result. Tube out to a tube amp made the music too smooth. However tube out to a pair of Adam ax7 really made them shine. The tube sound combine with the ribbon tweeters are beautiful. Just the right balance of musicality and details...
