  I would say yes to the combination of those five items working well together, as I have all those parts and they fit well together.   It's been answered for me before by DMinor a fair number of pages back on this thread now about the 2000 mAh battery fitting in an iPod with the Tarkan...

  I suppose I could try the "developmental version," but I opted to use the latest stable version instead.  Regardless, I think I will live with the little bit of extra effort that it takes to switch the iPod into iTunes mode when I want to add music to it.
