Selling my much loved Thieaudio Oracle IEM's along with added extras.
I'm sure you already know but these are easily regarded as one of the very best mid tier IEM's on the market for their excellent tuning and great technical abilities. Personally I even preferred them to the Unique Melody Mest Mkii which I actually returned in favour of these. You only need to read the numerous great impressions from all the top reviewers to get an idea of quite how special these are.
The following are also included in the sale;
- Original 2.5mm balanced Thieaudio cable including 3.5mm & 4.4mm adapters
- Original Thieaudio pelican case
- Original unused comply foam ear tips s/m/l & medium SpinFit CP100 silicone tips (Oracle only come shipped with the one size)
Added extras Inc;
- Black aftermarket 2.5mm balanced cable (softer, lighter and lower profile in look)
- Symbio W hybrid tips s/m/l
- Handy Campfire Audio hard case which fits the Oracle plus cable and Qudelix 5k
- Rubber ring spacers to increase the depth if needed
- Equally highly regarded Qudelix 5k DAC/Amp which pairs perfectly with the Oracle and includes full parametric EQ, handy if you want to add a slight bass shelf to the Oracle which I think they can definitely benefit from for genres that require a touch more bass elevation.
The one complaint I've heard from a lot of people are fit issues (certainly not as many complaints as with the larger Thieaudio Clairvoyance or Monarch though!). I think a large part can be put down to the rather large nozzle diameter which is increased significantly by the lip they've added. In order to improve the comfort I've used a Dremel to grind off the lip which has made I big difference to the comfort and have actually made them one of my most comfortable IEM's now. Because of the size I've not had any issue at all with tips sliding off. Annoyingly I just caught the edge of the mesh with the dremel which has made a small hole as pictured. This is purely cosmetic though and has in no way affected the performance. With the tips in place the hole is pretty much covered anyway. If it really bothered you a replacement mesh can be bought for them but I never saw it being an issue.
