Long time no talk! I was about to send you a link to these but I see you are the seller! How was the view from the top lol.
Also I like your glowy wall things.
Anyway good luck with sale. Best headphone right here, electrostatically fast but with balanced FR, surprising comfort imo. I brought mine to CanJam last month and didn't think anything there really came close. My completely nonaudiophile friend that I brought thought the same. Should be a quick sale.

Yea it's basically sold almost. Did you not like the LCD5?

Abyss is def the best HP I've heard hands down.

Good to see you man!

Ahh, I should have said, I did not hear the LCD-5. I was only there for one day and the line was way too long. Also, I think that headphone deserves a proper home audition with my own electronics and music. But based on the specs I am not expecting miracles.

With 1266 I basically stopped looking for headphones, it's my only headphone really besides LCD1 which I actually enjoy equally. I think we stopped talking about headphones basically right after I bought it lol.
I'd like to try LCD5, Snorry NM-1, maybe get a RAD-0 again. Trying to find somewhere to let me audition the Orpheus lol.
Still never tried IEMs.

CanJam impressions are below, tl;dr buy 1266 lol.

The only headphones to come close to the 1266's speed were the electrostats. BHSE with SR009S was probably my best of show, it was beautiful just missing low end. The Voce I really liked, although worse than 1266 on all technicalities. I wasn't impressed with CRBN at all, thought it had neither electrostatic speed nor planar bass, kind of missed the mark. Shangri La and Raal floored me when I first put them on, but I thought the FR was a little too strange to be a primary rig. LCD3 was nice. I like the bass on the Empyrean but it's missing holography.
The most ownable headphone there for me was probably the Stealth. Very polite sound, you could wear for hours in an office setting. Although missing bass and the soundstage is kind of far back, the FR was just very nice and unoffensive, there was a track that started playing rain sounds and I actually thought it was raining inside the building for a second, very spooky.
I thought the hidden gem of the show was the VZR Model One gaming headphone for like $350. It had a very usable sound signature, unabashedly colored with greatly exaggerated decay and spatial queues, and a dynamic driver, which has become exotic to me. Overall a very usable headphone. I'm gonna get one. I haven't found a TOTL audiophile headphone that really works for gaming yet, at least not better than LCD1.
I was surprised how good the Abyss sounded straight out of the DAVE (but strangely my LCD1 sounded terrible out of it). They also sounded very good out of Hugo and GSX MkII.
It was my second time hearing the WA33 and I was even more unimpressed with it than the first time, almost my least favorite amp I've heard, no lie. Another one I was excited to try was Susvara, but I immediately hated it due to ruthlessly forward and annoying snare drum, upon switching back to 1266 I was satisfied again, so it's not the electronics, I just don't prefer its FR, but I couldn't really hear why people put it on the same level as 1266.
Wells Audio and Ampsandsound had a big presence. I have both of their gears. But I thought their booths sounded really bad, like they were choked for power or something, nothing like how they sound at my home. So I will give everyone benefit of the doubt that I did not hear anything at its true potential.
Going to CanJam actually made my system sound better to me. It's like I didn't know how to listen to it before or appreciate its speed until I heard all that stuff back to back.
