These are open-back headphones with 50mm pure beryllium drivers, ebony wood cups, lambskin/cowhide pads, soft aftermarket bonus pads, pure silver litz cable (with 3.5mm termination and a 1/4" adapter) and a travel case.

The only other headphone I have owned with pure beryllium drivers is the Focal Utopia. The KLH Ultimate One bears a sonic resemblance, although it's obviously not as good.

They're in great condition, with some skin cells (from a previous owner) on the pads that can be cleaned off. (I'm no good at cleaning things.)

Don't know about them being pure beryllium drivers, but they do sound good and are very comfortable. I also find them very well built and elegant. All in all a great buy! GLWS

It's too bad KLH isn't a recognized brand here. (Although the company was bought by a former Klipsch exec in recent years.) If more people knew how good these are for the price, they would have sold long ago. It really does sound like a mid-fi version of the Focal Utopia to me. haha
