I would guess most of us haven’t seen or heard one of these unique Limited Edition “White”Headphones anytime recently, they sold out several years ago rather quickly.
Set retail price was $799.
This pair is almost 100% pristine. There is a minor chip inside the loop cut out for the back screen. Super easy to fix. There is only one other blem and that is only a very thin dark line, hardly noticeable as is and easy to fix.1/4” long. They’ are among the last few photos. Comes with original box which is like new.
I got them from one of my collector buddies. Knowing him I have been playing them a bit. I don’t think my friend would have put much playtime so they actually seem to just be breaking in, evolving very nicely as I am giving them some playtime.
Update: they are really showing the sonic improvement and pretty much across the full spectrum. Very fast and open and bass has refined quite nicely. They are extremely open and spacious, more so on that last part than it’s bigger (A.K.A. more expensive) brothers.
* The sound continues to improve and is actually quite good, low hours.
Very light and comfortable, good bass both in impact and detail. Very efficient, more so than usual.
A very good phone, especially for the price. The wood cups are MAPLE wood that then is covered with the white. GRADO is imprinted on each ear cup. It received a number of very good reviews when it was current, including vs. the more expensive Sennheiser HD800s. It outdid the HD800s in a few parameters at the time in several reviews.
In addition if you occasionally collect or looking to start then this is a prime example of a very interesting piece at almost half off retail price yet it is virtually new with only a little play time.
Your interesting unique looks and good performance, like new condition.
