As mentioned above, John Grado told me he took that photo himself. There is something in prototype state, not finalized and no timeframe. It won’t come with Cardas cables.

Sorry, it was not intended to be. I just tried to not make it sound like bragging or a private product announcement :wink:

Nevertheless it was nice to exchange a few words with the guy behind all this. I guess I have to get a few more shares in that company.

Here's my new 3000xs, with gorgeous BA pads and headband. Silvian said very people choose colors like this, which I actually find somewhat depressing. Why would you just want more black pads, when you can have something more warm, vivid, yet not showy, which so complements the wood? It's actually a little deeper than it might seem, a lovely hunter green. The pad on the right in the photo on the stand is the most accurate representation.
