Android 13 m, replaceable battery, and a lower cost lower RAM option are all big thumbs up for me. I was always on the fence with the DX170 because of its lower end processor but this looks like it could be the one I’ve been waiting for.

Looking at the specs so far, I'm pretty sure the DX180, for roughly half the price of the DX260, won't sound only half as good, no, it has all the ingredients to sound better than it's price point and that indicates we'll likely have a pretty good price/performance DAP coming up.
IMHO it even has the potential to become one of the best in its class around 500ish.
Lets wait for the first reviews... subbed, too for sure.

Agreed. This looks like a great 2024 entry for the $500 band. Not sure about the green and blue colours compared to the DX160/DX170 but black is always the safe choice. Subbed too. Almost time to consider an upgrade for my 160(2020) perhaps?
