Excellent review! Zach should ask your permission to use some of those pictures, they're the best I've seen of the headphones so far. I disagree with the Eikon being an overachiever at $1300. As it is direct to market with no dealer margin built in it better sound fabulous at that price! Obviously the Utopia has at least a $1500 to $2000 dealer margin baked in which explains the many dealers selling them for around 25% off. Would you say the Eikon gets you to 90% of Utopia?
If yes and if it is slightly darker with a bit more bass it could be the perfect poor man's Utopia
@rthomas We do sell to dealers internationally, with our main dealer being Bangkok Audio in Thailand. But we don't price our products based on whether we are going to sell them to dealers and distributors or not, we just try to provide a great value for what you get and price them as low as we can based on the cost to produce the products and stay in business. I certainly enjoy sellng direct as that means I get to interact more with people, which is really fun for me!
