For Tanchjim Space in Amp/DACs
Pros: - An excellent reference/analytical, transparent-sounding DAC under 100 USD!
- Clean, pitch-black,noise and distortion-free, spacious sound (literally).
- The most “revealing” DAC I’ve used under 100 USD.
- Well-done, powerful output (230 mw @32 Ohms).
- Offers two modes of gain.
- Offers SE and BAL ports.
- Independent hardware volume controls!
- Detachable cable!
- Does not require any app to sound in its optimal performance! (There’s an app but it is buggy as of this moment)
- Does not get too hot unlike most USB DACs.
- Minimal yet intuitive LED indicators!
- Quite tiny in terms of form factor!
- Excellent build quality!
- Visually pleasing appearance!
- Visually pleasing packaging! (subjective).
- Average power consumption.

Cons: - Having a revealing, transparent sound is a double-edged sword. (heavy emphasis on this one)
- Having an independent volume control also requires at least an - indicator or a tiny screen for me to see what volume step I am in.
- Some people may ask for a well-done, properly-functioning dedicated app for this dongle (I don’t need that as it works excellent without it, still subjective though).
- Cable is visually aesthetic and very durable, but it is quite stiff to my liking.
- A pouch or a carrying case would’ve been nice if included for its price, to prolong the dongle’s overall life span.

For Penon Impact in Universal Fit
Pros: Relatively small shells, A lot of people will get to know this set more
High standard of build and finish
The upgraded Gold leaf Face plate is as stunning as the Clear white original
Top shelf European resin clear shells to behold the internal structures
Despite its brilliance, It remains true to its analogue hi-fi qualities
Detail heads and neutral heads unite!
Clear, open, highly resolving, and transparent
As expected with the high grade technicalities, the level of resolution is at the very top
Despite being supremely technical, this set will never bore, Good luck with sleeping

Scales extremely well on portable and / or transportable amplifiers
Even on top of the world, Penon represents great value for money
There is perceived Durability and reliability. My Volt is more than 3 years running
After sales support is among the best in the industry

I thought the Osprey was way bigger than most daps on the market...but it looks like the Penon can be stacked with it. Good to see that...didnt want to do use this as transportable separates in the wild if I got one...also, can you show us the dap without the case? We really cant see the intricate details of the player with the case on.

Great review and nice looking setup! Those Aries boxes are the serious business.
"It sounds good at the first moment. No need for 500 hours of play-in. A good equipment can be even better with time but I haven't had any that changed from bad to good." -- I concur 100%. Good gear will still sound good from the start, even if it requires break in to sound it's best.

Gotcha, this helps a lot. I do agree on est drivers. At best they actually help the treble or at worst it's placebo imo. Although that's based on my experience with Aur Ascension and monarch mk3.
Alright then, I'll buy the custom sr8 this upcoming sale.
