I would format it on the PC, add your files there, then use the Hiby app to scan for music… try another card if that fails

Sounds like an SD card issue. Your player should not be asking to format your SD card.

The QT-X has a couple of dongles included in their 2 packages, mine had an r-300 or something and it’s kind of a sweet little 3.5mm dongle… if I had simpler audio tastes, that little cable would be all I needed.

Yeah, pretty neat little device! Seems there were some units with a faulty amp, mine seems to have passed the tests. Really impressive for the $240 spent. This is my first DAP really, I will say my google passwords aren’t going near this thing after opening the browser for the first time lol...
