    Did you have a bass version or neutral version? Cause, you know, bass version with ECL-03 MF one of the most dynamic headphones with strong elevated bass that I heard in the market. Though you need to put smth like 1+ Watts into it to sound good, so in my case DX320 and DX320 MAX TI worked well...

    I personally wouldn’t go with the Expanse as they actually have a semi-open back design resulting in stage being more on a bit smaller side, and it’s tuning also doesn’t help with this. As for being overly dampened - they all are, which result in absence of air movement, like the sound is...

    May I ask you to provide some comparisons to any well-known IEM like Traillii, Jewel, Raven, you name it? You have piqued my interest but I just want to keep my expectations real.

    The thing with a stepped attenuator is not the sensitivity of an IEM used but sound dropping out while changing steps (there is nothing you can do with this) and not that big steps amount to match exactly your desired volume (24, but it also have +/- controls, so was not an issue for me).

    Well, regularly winters are much more mild there than what you described, a -20 C degree is considered to be cold, and I’ve remember having -30 C only few times in my whole life here, so not sure that I would go along with regular -40 C if it was like this too often 😂

    Please do make a comparison between 74E and Traillii if you review this new Canpur model! I had a feeling that 54E didn’t fall short compared to the Bird in terms of technicalities but maybe lacked some magic in its presentation.

    Ok as Oriolus seem to raise their price for Traillii in Japan to 7.2k USD$ I’m ready to sell mine used just for the old price of 6.5k USD$. Cash only via courier pigeon.
