I would re-seat the SD card and factory reset the Hiby, that usually cures most problems (remember to back up first if necessary). If that doesn't fix it, it may be a faulty unit.

You'll need a T-6 torx screwdriver and a CR1220 lithium cell battery. Undo the screw on the back, replace the battery, replace the back and screw, done.

I'm confused. I was just reading https://rme-audio.de/downloads/adi2fs_e.pdf and on page 6 it says, "The ADI-2 FS has two analog line inputs ...". Mine has digital inputs and analogue RCA and XLR plus headphone outputs but no analogue inputs that I can see. Is this a mistake or am I missing...

What is the box next to the ADI-2? Is it a linear power supply for it and if so, did it make an audible difference?

It's easy to be dismissive about these things without trying them. If switch mode power supplies were satisfactory everyone would use them, they're not, they're noisy things made to a budget, not for optimal sound quality.

I do trust them, but having heard the difference replacing the power cable on my amp with a high quality one and upgrading from one PSU to another in my previous Naim Audio system, I don't regard it as snake oil but a valid upgrade. PSUs and cables are very important.
