    Sennheiser HD 660S2 thread

I would like to try FluxLab Mentor someday (currently using Topping A90).

    Denafrips Ares 12th speculation/discussion/impressions

Noob question: is it OK to keep both XLR and RCA outputs of ARES 12th-I plugged to different devices, in case if I turn on and use only 1 of these devices at a time? For example, may I connect headphone amp via XLR + active speakers via RCA, if I will use only one thing (either headphone amp +...

Fantastic new concert of Norwegian band Jaga Jazzist with KORK (Norwegian Radio Orchestra)! "One of Norway’s strongest jazz bands turns 30 and celebrates big with KORK in Store studio": https://tv.nrk.no/serie/kork-jazz/sesong/1/episode/4/avspiller To make this post look less off-topic, I will...

To me, it's easier to keep them in slightly opened case, than to plug/unplug the cables every time:

Astell & Kern SR25: The next A&norma player

Have you tried to install Control App on your phone, make all required adjustments for your wireless earphones there, and after that use them with A&K? I have Technics AZ60 and ATH-TWX9 and I did exactly the same with both, i.e. customized touch controls on both, changed number of volume steps...

Astell & Kern SR25: The next A&norma player

@GreenBow, you need a Tag Editor program (e.g. Mp3Tag, TagScanner, etc.) or a player with ability to edit tags (e.g. foobar2000) on your computer. Then you open all 17 tracks from Gladiator OST (discogs) in this program, change their different Artist tags ("Lisa Gerrard", "Djivan Gasparyan, Hans...

Astell & Kern SR25: The next A&norma player

I'm wondering if anyone is using SR25 (I or II) with bluetooth earphones outdoors? I have VERY bad experience with Technics AZ60 - it barely works only with SBC codec. When I try LDAC, connection is very unstable (constant interruptions), so it's impossible to listen. Absolutely no problem...

Astell & Kern SR25: The next A&norma player

OK, I've tested "Album Artist" approach today, using Twin Peaks OST as example: - 8 tracks have Artist tag = "Angelo Badalamenti"; - 3 tracks have Artist tag = "Julee Cruise"; - all 11 tracks have Album Artist tag = "Angelo Badalamenti". Unfortunately, this approach doesn't work as it should...

@GreenBow, try to put "Hans Zimmer" into "Album Artist" tag for all files from this album ("Gladiator - Music from the Motion Picture by Hans Zimmer"). Then (if I'm not mistaken) all tracks should be presented there, when you use navigation by Artist. Or you may simply use navigation by Folders...

Buy a headphone stand for your WP900s - they deserve it :). Then there won't be any reason to rotate cups at all.

    Audio-Technica ATH-WP900

@Waddiewadkins, just reread the thread starting from this post at page 71: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/audio-technica-ath-wp900.925199/page-71#post-17113465. There were several more praises from other users after that.

There is a combo-box with two options (stPad2-LR (Red&Blue) or stPad2 (Black)) at the bottom of that page (just above the "add in cart" button).

@marekm, most probably, these are YAXI stPad2, that has already been highly praised by several users in this thread - see previous 3-5 pages. Link: https://www.yaxi.jp/product-gallery/stpad2/. Personally, I bought their other pads for ATH-MSR7 (MSR7 Comfort), and think that they are great -...

    Lotoo Paw 6000 (2019)

In case if someone is interested, good alternative to Mp3Tag is TagScanner (also freeware): https://www.xdlab.ru/en/. I have been using it for many years to keep my music library in good shape :). It allows to generate tags from different parts of file path, adjust them manually, rename files...
