If you’re connecting to an iPhone, make sure to use an OTG adapter. There are a few on Amazon or you can get the ddhifi one. Your first picture shows an adapter that seems to be charge only. Those don’t work, even if they say they transfer data. It has to be an OTG adapter. Hope this helps!
