    Earbuds Round-Up

We have a first impression of the Moondrop paperclip earbud from a consumer: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/moondrop-earbuds-returns.972829/page-2#post-18133492 Doesn't make for good reading though, if it is even more LowFI than the yincrow X6.

Dunu Zen Pro 2025 Seems accessories are new, but unsure if there is tuning change from the Zen Pro lineage. https://www.facebook.com/DUNU.FANS/posts/pfbid0M8Nw8eeNFFdQSww4icSEwQoRtd1tSJQDGnbAngsCSkegGsQKYnkZJWKnF569ryeQl Would agree with @Hypops about the possibility of low impedance...

Tanchjim in ear monitors Impressions Thread

You can read about the DUNU Falcon Ultra. It has 2 tuning nozzles. One is also harmanish, the other is more laid back. And you get all round improvements from the Tanya.

@Deckard001 Mine is a rather fast gaming laptop, and this dongle doesn't sound analogue at all, it is very clinical and sterile, with good technicalities. No doubt there are some filters you can play with that make it a bit more analogue, but there are way more analogue sounding dongles like...

Bro this one is thinner in male vocals than the Kato, especially on the less bassy settings. Knowing your preferences, probably not an upgrade over the KATO. Yeah the Origin nozzles were gimmicks. This one at least has real changes on the tuning dial. I suspect though that those with poor...

Hi @Deckard001 , you need to long-press the "M" button to access the settings page, where users can play with various options, including gain, channel balancing and DAC filters. Not the +/- button but long press the "M" button.

Hi @Deckard001 best you post this in the dongle thread and I hope someone there can assist: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/usb-c-to-3-5mm-adapters-dac-lets-find-the-best.908839/

The Tanchjim 4U is a DMT-4 LCP DD IEM. The zinc alloy shells fit very well, they are small bean shaped designs akin to those Shure-type housings. There's a mirror-like faceplate, it definitely looks elegant, but may be a potential scratch or fingerprint magnet (so do baby them carefully!)...

The Explorer actually sounds similarly tonally to some of the Fatfreq gear, big sub-bass with relatively neutral mids and treble. But of course, some of these higher-end Fatfreq stuff have better technicalities, which is expected for the price differential. Don't look into Medusa's eyes! I...
