The discovery thread!
It's frustrating waiting for postal updates for 5 days wondering when I'll receive the review Ruby unit - so near, yet so far.- AnakChan

HiFiMan Susvara
That new look's going to take quite a bit of getting used to.....and a bit of an unfortunate name.- AnakChan

The discovery thread!
[Mod hat on] That's enough off topic posts. Not only for @droid23 but for others who are insistent in replying to this line of topic in this thread. If this continues I'm going to start locking folks out of this thread. Let's get back on topic. [/Mod hat off]- AnakChan

Woo Audio WA11 Review / Preview - Head-Fi TV
Cheers. Yes looking at the manual, it likes USB2.0 (despite the USB-C connector). I guess I have to use the Satechi Pro Hub Mini with it all the time. Aside from full speeker-level amps, the WA11 is the only portable/desktop-level device I've got that can drive the Susvara. Actually I've always...- AnakChan

Woo Audio WA11 Review / Preview - Head-Fi TV
Probably the first time in years, I pulled out my WA11 to give my Susvara a listen. Possibly I've been out of audio game for a little too long but it seems I can't use USB-C-USB-C cables between the MacBook Pro the WA11? I had to put in a Satechi Pro Hub Mini in between for the Mac to recognise...- AnakChan

HiFiMan Susvara
That's interesting, why would you advise against using the HE-Adapter? I've been outta headphone game in awhile so I've not caught up of any "gotchas" about it in the past 5 yrs. I used to drive the Susvara with my MC275 via the HE-Adapter.- AnakChan

HiFiMan Susvara
In fact I'm wondering if SMSL A200 speaker amp together with the HE-Adapter can drive the Susvara for a practical price.- AnakChan

The discovery thread!
Credit actually goes to @HiFiHawaii808 as I heard him mentioning about this IEM to Jude. So I popped by the Eminent Ears booth to give this a listen. All I can say is that after that, I was gently pushing Ethan & Jude to give a listen :D. So I'm stoked that I'm going to be able to give the Ruby...- AnakChan

Introducing the NEW SMSL A200: Hi-Res 70W*2 Power Amp with Bluetooth 5.0 & HDMI ARC!
70W/ch, looks like this could drive the Susvara via the HE-Adapter at a pretty decent price.- AnakChan

Gammi's Mega Headphone Shootout
Interesting, I only had a few mins with the SR-X9000 but didn't hear the 6k peak. Got to try to get another chance to listen to it again.- AnakChan

Cypher Labs AlgoRhythm Solo - Discussion and Impressions Thread
Thx, I'll give that a shot. I assume i don't need any fancy Pi's right? i.e. Pi0 would suffice? Or do I need a bigger Pi4/Pi5? Pi0's don't have major power requirements so I can have something smaller and more compact to drive the CLAS.- AnakChan

Pictures of Your Portable Rig (part XVI)
Somewhat portable. Currently tethered to the mains via a 3V DC input. Was doing a little cleaning/repairing of my Walkmans. The earphones are the Noble Audio Maple Sage.- AnakChan
