Bought earlier this year new at a Guitar Center to have something for isolation. Turns out I didn't really use them. Probably used them like 4-5 times. Essentially like-new. No box included.
As for the SRH840 earpads, it seems like the earpads were revised. The new pads are thicker and the response is quite a bit warmer than the old variant. The old pad variant sounds pretty neutral. I'm also including SRH940 earpads which are a fair bit close to the old SRH840 pad variant but without a bump in the midbass and a bit more treble.
