I'm in need of some quick input since I'm buying from Shenzen Audio through Aliexpress with their Cyber Monday special. I'm planning to drive an array of cans, but want something that can handle more demanding phones on the go like the Argon t60rp. I prefer balanced, but am not married to it. Since neither seems good for IEMs, I'm kind of discounting that as I can't swing something like the Gryphon right now.

What I've read suggests the G5 is a better sound experience out the door, whereas the Bal2 will probably benefit from more expensive op amps, but of course, is balanced. Is it worth an extra $100 for the Bal2?

And would you have a different recommendation in that price range? (~230-350 shipped)

I went with the G5 based on @c69k 's recommendation. Thank you for the help, I can't wait to get it in. I'll be pairing it initially with my Focal Elegia, but I'm going to be getting a set of Argon t60rp, among some others soon!
