Hi,

I'm looking for some advice on best options to achieve what I have in mind.

I have a house with several rooms, standard e-installation, no bus system installed.

What I would like to do is following:
  • monitor temperatur in several rooms
  • optional: monitor humidity in several rooms
  • remote access
  • open/close blinds/covers in several rooms via app (probably in a later stage also automate it based on temperature)
  • optional: control door lock (Nuki SmartLock)
  • everything shall be able to be managed in one app/tool
  • app shall have simple and nice looking UI

What I planned to install for opening/closing the blinds was Shelly plus 2PM wifi modules.
But I'm still unsure whats the best approach to monitor temperature and also which app/plattform to use (Shelly Cloud, Google Home, Home Assistant, ...).

I'd stick with Google Home Assistant compatible items since it covers so many different products. Alexa stuff maybe, but get a list of the things you want and most if not all I bet would be compatible with the Google home app.
