Since this thread has slowed down a little, let me put in two questions to the round :)

1: Everyone still happy with this hidden gem of a All-in-One Streamer/DAC/AMP solution?

2: What's everyone's top-5 favorite headphone/IEM pairing with this baby?

For me question one is an unequivocal YES!, and question two is answered by

1: Meze Elite
2: T+A Solitaire T
3: Focal Utopia 2022

Not sure. I had asked and was told it is possible it could come to the CA1000T at some point, but there is no definite plan or ETA at the moment.

@JasonNYC I guess the Crimson UI no longer is on the radar for the CA1000T? Because if somehow it could help towards solving part of the CA1000T's general sluggishness many of us CA1000T owners would definitely welcome that.

High on the WBIC (Why Because I Can) scale is the Teraton Alpha Nutube PRE-POWER Class-A combination … 2 x Double Nutube goodness

It’s only because I lack a second 4.4mm interconnect or I would have added an R2R source to this into AK’s line in 😂

Interesting .. On the CA1000T I just disabled AK Connect and that actually made the CA1000T become noticeably snappier ... @JasonNYC Is there anything that can be modified in AK Connect to make it less of a performance hog? And would there be anything else that we can expect from future firmware releases bringing similar effects?

New Qobuz version 7.15.1.3 is out ... And is way way way faster on the CA1000T ... CA1000T handles like a dream currently

Hi
Thank you for confirming. I heard that CA1000T is slow on some apps from different reviews. How about Apple Music? Have you experienced any lag or issues?
It's true that the CA1000T could be perceived as a tad sluggish .. However this is partially caused by the various app developers and not necessarily A&K themselves. I have seen versions of the Qobuz app being relatively snappy as well as atrociously slow ... In comparison Apple Music (currently) can be considered a top performer. While not as fast as on a full Open Android DAP It runs smooth nonetheless :)

The way I currently perceive it, from fastest to slowest:

1: Apple Music
2: Spotify
3: Tidal
4: Qobuz

(Lot of information to bring in a bit of nuance I guess:wink: )
