I am seeing cables like the NiceHCK DualDragon that have a 4.4mm data jack and a 3.5mm jack to attach to cable shielding. Is there any science to the idea of this approach? I ask because it's a fairly uncommon thing, although PWAudio does have some adapters that do this type of thing for common DAPs.

Don't know if this is too pricy for this thread? If it is I will take it down?

Getting this beauty this upcoming week. Vortex Seraphina. Will be the main cable for my 634Ears LOAK2-Ti Copper Blue.
How do you like it? Got one, too, and LOVE it! :)

Very nice cable. Working on a write up for it, definitely would spend the money on a cable like this again.

I have only heard the Master V4, but you can read the manufacturer’s script.

Cables are like a bottleneck. If your sound quality is limited by your cable, then your cable is a bottleneck in your chain. That is how I see it. Mid-price usually do not limit your sound quality unless you want to use absolute high end gear. There is a second factor that is certainly very interesting: the cable can help your IEM to stay inside your ears. I usually have an aversion against very heavy cables. It's better to not have a "tug" on your In Ears. Some cables can even keep the IEM in a certain position to keep it from falling out or losing seal. My Sound Rhyme SR5 with the Hakugei White Snow are a good combo. The stiff cable keeps that piece nicely in place.

Looking for some buying advice
Nicehck OG Dragon scale or Nicehck Ace Orpheus to pair with Nicehck Himalaya as both are on sale for practically the same price.

I bought both cables at about the same time, the Orpheus was sold soon after, and the OG Dragon is still with me, a great cable that has been well received by my audiophile friends.

Not heard OG Dragonscale but to my ears, AceOrpheus will bring richer bass and lower mids, but very subtle highs. It depends on whether you like that flavour. For my tastes it’s mostly too treble shy.
