I have an older set that I still like, AKG 701. I have an HDD in my Nucleus that has an ethernet connection to my router. I was planning on connecting it to my Pioneer blu ray player.No worries. It should work just fine What cans are you using with that set?

I don't think that will be the case with the K701's. @drjjpdc you should be good to goYes, it's a handy feature if one decides to use micro iDSD BL in a desktop setup. Here it's worth noting that its battery may eventually go to 0% if one uses difficult to drive cans at high volume levels. In other words, micro iDSD BL needs to receive more power than a connected load demands, but that shouldn't be a problem with vast majority of cans on the market. Thanks and enjoy!
