It's actually 3k USD for the whole system. Was looking at headamp and saw it. 1100 for just the headphone.

If it follows the normal hifiman trend we just need to wait 8 months for the v2 to come out, though they never did drop v2's for the other electrostats

You'd be better off buying a better headband from Hifiman directly.
