Great innovation! About time somebody got around to developing a decent-quality standalone adapter!
Makes my own adapter cables a bit redundant, but no objections from me! lol

The 4.4mm male jacks are wildly sold but I have never seen any female one. Except the ports in amps and hiend audio players.

Does the adapter change the impedance of cables or effect the output specs of amps?
Dear friend,

Will not, don't worry. The impendance of the adapter is very small.

Best regards

@FiiO I'm would also be interested in such an adapter. Are you have plans on them?
I would suggest this type of 4.4mm to XLR adpter, plus the cable will introduce a risk of high load/force/moment on the female 4.4mm socket if you accidentally knocked the adapter while an XLR4p male connector and cable was plugged in. Then it's bye-bye to those terminations in the 4.4mm socket and an expensive equipment repair I'd suspect.

You would be better off using a 4.4mm to XLRf adapter cable - something with a degree of flex between the connectors to reduce any risk of knocking it accidentally etc.

Very good point. Make a lot of sense!

I have the older ddhifi model where the used Neutrik connector but was 4 times the price (39.95) the new ddhifi switch to a different connection. At 9.99 would give this one a shot.
