    Sony MDR-NC7 or NC8

    I found a Sony MDR-NC7 on sale at Kmart and I was wondering that is this better than the newer NC8 model from Sony? The NC7 was for $35 and normaly it was $50.  Well actualy it was a clearance item since it was discontinued model the NC7 is.

    Does anyone know if the Sony MDR-NC8 is overall better than the NC7? I just don't know which should I get when I go to Japan this Sep.     iPod or Headphones

    Has anyone had the problem when using the Sony MDR-NC8 noise cancelling headphones on a iPod Shuffle? Basically when I turn up the volume the sound gets distorted for some reason. Other headphones work fine but just these NC8 have a problem.
