So, I recently had to return my HD 438's because the left ear stopped working (issue with the cable).  I know that you can replace the cables on them, but overall I just wasn't satisfied with the clamping and soundstage.  I'm taking a look at the ATH-PRO5MSA and I'm wondering if anyone here can...

i am thinking of getting the ATH 700 mk2s becuase of all the awesome reviews it has got... i am a basshead and have never bought any over ear headphones of somesort... i only ever use ipod buds... the only over ear experience i have ever had are my sister's studio beats.... i love techno music...
