I have all the parts on the way for a pimeta and today I got my capacitors. The first thing I noticed when I opened the box is that these capictors don't stand upright. They lay down like a resistor. These are Vishay/BC Components Aluminum Capacitors 10 x 25 470uF 25V 20%. Now my question is... Will these work(other then having to mount them weird) or do I need to reorder?

Sounds like you got axial-lead capacitors instead of radial-lead. It's a matter of whether you could physically mount the axial-lead capacitor in the pcb position (bending one lead down its side in an ugly-hacky way) and not rub against anything.
