I just bought a 512M muvo TX and am pleasantly surprised. The big surprise is the sound quality through all my cans. Im listening to some Eric Johnson, DT770 plugged directly into the TX... no amp. Sound quality is surprisingly good, MUCH better than my old Nomad Jukebox. Through my KSC75 my impressions are the same.

Question time...
Are there different firmware upgrades? Is there a parametric EQ frirmware? The 5 band EQ is very usefull, but Id like to get freqs centered at ~3200Hz and ~35Hz.

Does headphone impedence increase / decrease battery life? I have 16 Ohm EX51 and 60 Ohm KSCs. Would one provide better battery life over the other? I prefer the sound of the KSC75s over the sony buds.

How many hours can I expect from a single energizer alkaline? I dont listen to loud levels and Im not into bass heavy music. Does it even come close to the manufacturers 8 hour claim?


Any other muvo TX users out there? How reliable are these? I dont plan on replacing it any time soon....
