I noticed that lately the foam tips for the Etys seem to have been getting cut shorter and shorter. The foam and tube trimming also doesn't seem to be even, and the tube is quite exposed from the foam...whereas before the foam and tube were flush against each other. Is there a quality control issue here, or is this done on purpose to make it easier (makes a smaller bundle) to get the foam tips into the ear?
