My preamp right channel is slow to power up.

ITs a cheap pre, but all I got. Any suggestions as to what may be the problem?

ITs not the amp, and not the source.

the caps on the right channel may be less capacitant (withgin tolerances) then the other?

ok good I can go with that. Now riddle me this Batman....If I open the case and see a cap, how do I know what to replace it with?

Replace with a cap with the same capacitance, and the same or higher voltage rating. IMO doesn't seem like a worthwhile fix, since once it powers up it is fine, right?
