I recieved my Empress phono cable a few days ago and am absolutely loving it so far. It is being used from the junction box of my VPI Scout w/ Dynavector DV20-L to a Dynavector P-75 (in phono enhance mode) then Grover SR IIs to my Unico's input.
Its letting my music through with a lot more body then my Bogdans ever did, while not sacrificing speed or body--also images seem a bit sharper. This was already a very smooth setup so there isn't as big a percived smoothness, but the increase in harmonic density is extreemly enjoyable. I kind of understood my Dynavector kit to be a faster/leaner and very detailed rig, this has changed that impression considerably.
