What is the difference between the Panasonic 470 and the 470A is?

I have the 470A. I am pretty sure the only difference is that the A is blue and the 470 is silver.

Kewl.....i think i may be getting one of those soon for my home setup. lol - some of you guys talk about dampening vibrations and getting hospital-grade power cables (
jude), and here i am - deliberating over whether a 470A + used SR80 will work for me....aahhh the joy of youth! lol....

I had a 470 [not A] and SR-80s. They go great together, especially for the relatively low price.

I agree voyager. The CT470 and my SR-225's just got me through a four hour car ride to long island new york. I am in debt to Grado and Panasonic for many years now.
