Someone is auctioning off my first "hi fi" which doesn't appear very often. It could even be EXACTLY the one I owned from the description of the problems and the ever-so-slight warp of the platter mat, although I can't imagine how it would have gotten to Iowa. This has a little 2-tube amp tucked behind one of the two ca. 4" oval speakers. It's "hi fi" because it had two speakers, I guess.

I'm tempted to buy it so my Belafonte records can be heard in their natural environment, but I think by the time I pay for shipping, new idler, caps, and cartridge, it won't be worthwhile even taking sentimental value into account.
