There's plenty of "fruity" names around here

Vertigo-1 : I didn't know you were calling yourself "the headphone boogieman" now

"tuki-tuki" just makes me think of a pigmy with a spear of that song "tiki god"

violeta88 just makes me wonder what the 88 means

As for my name - Mumrik hit the nail in the head, I'm actually part Danish; on my mums side and have a fair few relatives living in Denmark, although I don't speak the language I have been there and liked it almost as much as I like Perth - I intend to make a return sometime for another visit to legoland and tivoli (the kid in me tells me I have to, he tells me to do a lot of things)

Perhaps we should start a team moomincreatures

The "88" in violeta88 means nothing. 8 is my favorite number, and I use violeta everywhere, but violeta8 is usually taken, hence "violeta88". I just found a username that was never taken, which in my case violeta88 never was, so I kept it.

moomintroll? here it's Mummitrold...

Hmmm, I chose Mumrikken (Snufkin) because I Identified with him at that age (I guess I still do at age 19), perhaps you and I have a thing or two in common

I really like the books, they are very different from your average childrens book and they have that peculiar charm that makes them worthwhile for adults too (as far as I remember. It has been some years since I last read the ones I own)...

And I thought I'd picked a unique name....

I've got all of the books and still read them now and then, and I'm 27 this year

There's not a lot of people who know the origin of the name, but it's interesting to find a like minded person - similar taste in headphones, similar heritage, same nick etc

And the name is unique, you just use the Danish version

Names are just a way to keep track of people. It's your content that matters. Go back to mr quality, tuki does infact make me think of fruit, rofl. That reminds me, I have fresh ripe pineapple in the fruit basket I haven't devoured yet... brb, yummmmmm.

The Quality Guru is back!! Yay! I guess Tuki-Tuki should disappear then? At least I'm glad I didn't stick with Tuki-Tuki.

Snufkin, my long lost brother!

(I just had a "The Golden Child" flashback... nevermind)

You're right, it's kinda funny...

One thing that we don't have in common though, is time zones
biggrin.gif
It's 5:15 AM here and I have a feeling it's time for me to go to bed...

p.s. maybe I should try out Beyers, eh?
wink.gif
though the AT W100 was next on my list...

Timezones can be a bitch, it's nearly 1pm here and I'm at work - it's a nice sunny day outside, I should be out there enjoying it!

As for the Beyers - definately worth looking into, although the 770pros may be too similar to the HP890s to bother with, there's plenty of others to choose from

We do not allow multiple usernames here. Since you said The Quality Guru is the name you're going with, I'm deactivating Tuki-Tuki.

And if you want to send e-mails and PM's with The Quality Guru handle, then you'll have to respond to the confirmation e-mail sent to the e-mail address you registered "The Quality Guru" with.

To all the Danes here...

The Moomins were really cool, I loved them as a child... there aren't too many people in the UK that'll remember, or admit to seeing the original puppet version of the Moomins... pure class
