I use a PC, Windows 10, JRiver22, LH Labs Geek Out Signature Edition, LH Labs Revive (Powered by their LPS), and go line out into an amp (either MicroZOTL2 or Liquid Carbon). Some music files are on the PC, and I have 2 external drives with more music (one of them seems to be not behaving well; the PC won't reboot unless I disconnect it). Otherwise things were behaving fine until yesterday, my antivirus (Kaspersky) told me there was virus activity from JRiver, wanted to correct it. I think I OK'd it, computer rebooted. I lost the shortcut to JRiver after that. Found the installation file and reinstalled it, but get no sound. Nothing. Tried Foobar, same thing, no sound. First thought was to use a System Restore, my PC tells me that since I recently updated, it has no restore files. I'm at a loss (very much NOT computer savvy).
Anyone out there have some suggestions on how to proceed?
It would be very much appreciated-I use my PC for much of my serious listening.

Much thanks for any help! :frown:

probably best to post some screen shots of your settings.  i'd start with control panel > sound showing the available soundcards.  then select the lh geek out and go into properties and get some screen shots of the various tabs.  then go into jriver > tools > options > audio and show the audio device and the device settings.

OK, I'm at work, I'll try to get to this tonight (will involve figuring out how to take a screen shot...:xf_eek: )
Thanks!

I don't see anything wrong with the settings...tried playing with volume in the Geek Out panel, tried changing LH Labs drivers in JRiver, Control panel Audio drivers seem to be OK...

Thanks!

easiest way to do this is to use the snipping tool in windows. go windows button > all programs > accessories > snipping tool.  after you've captured your image, you can save it as a .png or .jpg
