Hello folks! Thanks to this place for leading me to the Soundmagic e-80, which I like very much but I need something with a microphone, that doesn't isolate me and frankly more comfortable. It's not the e-80 itself, I just can't handle deep insertion earbuds, or anything that goes too much in my ear canal. I am a 90s person who still likes the classic earbud, I find apple's classic earpod comfortable for long times http://www.solidsoundlabs.com/images/headphones/originals/apple-earbuds.jpg. My desired budget is around $20-30, I could go a bit higher if it's bluetooth, but I am not looking for anything crazy. I will be using this mostly for phone calls and listening to music while I bike, and I don't like to hear my internal noises more than the outside ones.

I have seen some bluetooth earphones like the earcandy, but I am concerned that the batteries will in a short time lose their capacity, and I am sure batteries are not easily replaceable. Also many of the BT models seem to be too isolating. Something like the Venture Monk seems a good option but wireless. Is there such thing like a bluetooth earbud with microphone and known reliable battery life? I think my ears are on the smaller side so that should be a consideration.

So in short
- microphone
- comfort
- non-isolating
- earbud style, no canal insertion
- wireless, if possible.

Another option I thought about is getting some decent earbuds and then using a clip-on bluetooth receiver like this https://www.amazon.com/KOBWA-Cancelling-Hands-free-Activities-Bluetooth-enabled/dp/B01LPRTI1I/ref=cm_wl_huc_item

Do you guys think these clip-on receiver have enough juice for the e-80 or the monk? They seem to be underpowered.

I've been looking for an integrated version of what you are looking for and I can't find it. I don't think there is any way to know whether the KOBWA is going to do it for you without hooking it up and firing it up, unfortunately. Your post brings up a hole in the current product offerings for wireless buds. Too bad you're not in the business--you could build it and sell it yourself!
