I'm quite interested in this. My favourite of your previous DAPs was the X3ii, I'd love to see what this first ever 3rd gen has to offer. I love reviewing DAPs!

-Headphone(s) / earphone(s) you possess: Meze 99 Classic w/ balanced cable, Sennheiser HD600, Trinity Audio Phantom Master 4, Ultimate Ears Reference Remastered, whatever I'm reviewing at the time (currently Noble Kaiser 10 Encore), etc...

-Descriptions and links to review(s) you may have posted: I've done many reviews, including DAPs, headphones, cables, amps and DACs. My index can be found here: http://www.head-fi.org/t/812299/glassmonkeys-reviews-past-present-future. There are a lot more successful reviewers, but I definitely bring something different to the table.
-Your geographical region (e.g. the city and country you live in): Southampton, United Kingdom

When is the release date for this puppy!

Already released in China. The rest of the world, not announced yet. FiiO has said early in the new year. I would just be satisfied with the announcements concerning the review tour(s). I haven't signed up for too many of these events. Does it usually take this long to make the who and when announcements? It's been almost two weeks since FiiO announced the review tour.

I have looked through your terms, they have been well thought out, but there is one thing I would like to open up for debate. reading through your thread I noticed this

one or more to reviewers in each
region, e.g. USA, Europe, SE Asia, Pacific region, etc. so that shipping costs from one reviewer to the next is kept low. FiiO will
pay for shipping to the first reviewer and any customs taxes / import duties that may result from the X5 3rdgen crossing countries.

(If possible, and if you feel it is essential that reviewers bear the cost of posting the package themselves, you would need to send separately to each country within the EU to avoid the big costs incurred to shipping from one Country to another. i.e from France to the UK would be $40+; within the UK possibly $8.)

•Reviewers should ship the X5 to the next reviewer by registered post requiring signature in the padded box provided.

(Can you also please reimburse us with the cost of that onward delivery? After all, you stand to receive plenty of publicity on your product, there is no doubt a considerable marketing budget for the product. The goodwill generated from such a gesture is surely worth the $8 or so cost to send the parcel to each other. This is something that has been taken on by other companies and really needs to form part of the terms and conditions of a modern company seeking promotion in such a competitive industry)
